For over 30 years, the Canada-Japan Co-op Program has provided dozens of Japanese employers with access to some of Canada’s top university and college students from a range of disciplines—including Arts, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Science and Tourism—who bring the latest knowledge and expertise to workplaces across Japan.
Who Participates
Being the only country consortium modeled international Co-op placement program, The Canada-Japan Co-op Program involves major universities and colleges from all regions in Canada, with students from both undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, working together with our partners in Japan, The Canada-Japan Co-op Program has also established work terms in over 80 companies in Japan since 1992.
Student Availability
Canada-Japan Co-op students are available year round for a period of four, eight or twelve months, starting in January, May or September unless an employer has alternate or special requests.
