For nearly 30 years, the Canada-Japan Co-op Program has provided dozens of Japanese employers with access to some of Canada’s top university and college students from a range of disciplines—including Arts, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, and Science—who bring the latest knowledge and expertise to workplaces across Japan.
Being the only country consortium modeled international Co-op placement program, The Canada-Japan Co-op Program involves major universities and colleges from all regions in Canada, with students from both undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, working together with our partners in Japan, The Canada-Japan Co-op Program has also established work terms in over 80 companies in Japan since 1991.
Canada-Japan Co-op students are available year round for a period of four, eight or twelve months, starting in January, May or September unless an employer has alternate or special requests.
